I remember Moby Dick’s well. In fact when I was in high school the white whale that used to be on the roof (next to where Molly’s Pub is today) was blown off by the winds of a winter storm and rolled down Route 28, headed for Hyannis on an Easterly wind. I seem to remember that the same white whale was stolen from it’s rooftop too, ...at least once.
Comments: Moby Dick's
I hope you can help! About the Moby Dick Gift Shop as it was in the 60s. Where is that whale today? Did I see it on a miniature golf site towards Hyannis near Howard Johnson’s? Do you have any postcard of the store I can buy from you? Thanks!
Posted by Carolyn from West Boylston on 02/27 at 10:55 PMI don’t think that is the same whale seen at the mini golf in West Yarmouth, but I am not positive. The one at the mini golf looks like it is made of concrete.??? Maybe someone else can chime in about what happened to the whale?
I have a pile of old postcards and pictures, but I don’t remember seeing any of Moby Dick’s. Sorry :-(
