my West Coast Cape Cod

I live in Tacoma, WA.  This house is probably not a true Cape Cod home but closer to this style than any other and that is why I bought it.  Would love ideas for renovation and paint colors.  I posted a comment on the site too.  Would welcome ideas.

I have never been to the Cape :(  Perhaps a trip there would inspire me!  I would love to see photos of YOUR Cape Cod home!!

2. I don’t know!!  I would like to know, because my house was built in 1940, and this is a cheap Home Depot door on my house, and I’d like one that is more in keeping with the original style.  If you find out, let me know!!

3. I too have a west coast cape cod—-if you find out any info I would love to hear from you.  Do you have a second story?  I am also looking for ideas to add a sun room off the back….Thanks!

4. Sheri, I would love to see a photo of your house!  I do have a second story, and a full daylight basement, which is another thing that really sold me on the house.  You can’t really see either in this photo and I couldn’t either when I first pulled up to the house, when we saw it I went nuts, there is so much space down there.  My second story is a half story as you can see…I want to add dormers on the front since I have an amazing view of Mr. Rainier and also of the Cascades.
