Located on the bluff overlooking the ocean on secluded East Chop, this charming Victorian has a wrap-around porch you only dream of. A scenic Tower Room has a 180 degree view of the island, with the ocean, Oak Bluffs harbor, and Cape Cod across the sound all in view. With high, arching ceilings this spacious 6 bedroom house sleeps 12 yet maintains a classic Vineyard feel; a true summer home by the sea.
Directly across the street is a small park ideal for a family game, and the house sits on the East Chop Loop Trail, which is ideal for walking or cycling. A 5 minute walk puts you at a large, secluded public beach right across from the East Chop Yacht Club where sailing lessons are taught daily. A short walk away is the East Chop Light House (tours available) which is right next to the famous “Jaws” house. On the other side of the harbor, less than a mile away, is the town of Oak Bluffs and the famous Flying Horses, the nation’s oldest carousel and a National Historic Landmark.
This house is our family’s treasure and we would love to share it with someone looking for the perfect Vineyard summer. Sorry, we do not rent for weddings.
Amenities:Outdoor shower, wifi/internet, amazing porch with swing, gas grill, brand new refrigerator, full kitchen amenities, stereo, small TV with DVD. As this is an old summer home, we’re still holding fast to the old-school ways - we do not have cable tv.

Rental Terms:Rental requires $500 non-refundable deposit per week and a refundable $500 security deposit.
