Massachusetts State Record Striped Bass
The 3 largest striped bass officially landed in Massachusetts weighed 73 pounds each. There are currently 3 record holders (according to the MA DMF) all sharing the MA State record for striped bass.

The current Official IGFA All Tackle Record Striper was caught by Al McReynolds on the Vermont Ave Jetty in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 21, 1982.
78-pound 8-ounces, Length 53 inches, Girth 34 ½ inches, Female; Year of “birth” determined by biologists as 1946!
