The SouthEastern Massachusetts Aquaculture Center is a state funded regional center established to assist the aquaculture industry within southeastern Massachusetts. Modeled after the agrictultural experiment station concept, SEMAC is a collaborative effort between Barnstable County/Cape Cod Cooperative Extension, the SeaGrant Program at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.—source
