Visit Antique Shops
Cape Cod’s many antique shops offer an excellent chance for the collector of old furniture, pictures and knick-knacks. For hidden at the rear of one of those barns with the large sign “Antiques” outside, you may find the object for which you have been searching many years.
For those who are satisfied with just browsing around, enjoying the mere sight of priceless old things, there are dozens of old houses, open to the public, completely furnished with authentic objects from the narrow land’s past.
Such “antiqued” houses can be located by contacting Cape Cod’s many historical societies.
