The stars of tomorrow are painting flats and working in the box offices of your Cape Cod summer theatres as they study their lines for next week’s plays. Premieres of new plays that may next season be standing room only on Broadway are scheduled for performances on Cape Cod’s straw hat circuit this summer, as are those hit shows for which it was almost impossible to get tickets for during their New York runs.

Cape Cod Summer Theatre is as much a part of the narrow land as its sun and surf. The excitement and fascination of Broadway in a setting of pine trees and cool sea winds. Drama, comedy and musicals of the highest caliber; theatre in the round, the larger theatres with “big name” stars, small progressive groups and the exciting medium musical arena theatre of the Melody Tent. There’s an on stage production for every taste and location. Wherever you are on Cape Cod there is a good theatre nearby for your enjoyment.
